Product Overview
The Cisco QDD-8X100G-FR Compatible QSFP-DD Transceiver is a high-performance 800G module for 8x 100GBASE-FR breakout. Using eight 106.25G PAM4 lanes at 1310nm over single-mode fiber, it delivers 800Gbps up to 2km through an MPO-16 APC connector. The APC polish is essential: use MPO-16 APC patch cords and adapters, not standard UPC, for correct mating and return loss. It breaks out to 8x 100G-FR links, and can also be used as 2x 400G or 4x 200G, for Cisco Nexus 9000 QSFP-DD800 platforms.
